The BIZCLUB Privacy Policy

The BIZCLUB values client privacy and complies with the National Privacy Principles that became law from 21 December 2001.
We will only collect personal information about you that is necessary to provide you with the products and services you want from us.

We collect personal information about you and/or your business, usually from you. If needed and authorised by yourself we may collect information from a third party like your employer, accountant, sales consultants (contractor), credit reporting agency or associated companies and others.

The type of information held about you and/or your business is dependent on the product or services provided. All information requested by us is required in order for us to fulfill our obligations to you.

We will only collect sensitive information such as health, racial, religion, criminal record etc. if it is necessary and we have your consent.

Information that is collected is used to provide and improve the services and products offered to you.

Your information is used in the following circumstances:

• To assess credit potential
• Organising finance applications
• Evaluate needs of customers to provide new products and services
• Information may be disclosed to related and associated companies in order to provide you with products and services that may be of relevance to you

The BIZCLUB’s right to disclose your information

We will ask for your consent before we provide your information to anyone outside The BizClub Financial Services Pty Ltd., except our related or associated entities.

The BIZCLUB protects the security of your personal information

The BIZCLUB takes all reasonable steps to protect your personal and business information.

All information is contained in secured premises monitored by security companies, procedural safeguards are put in place to protect client information and computerised data bases are password protected on different levels so as to only provide authorised people with access. All staff have signed client confidentiality clauses.

Clients’ Rights

You are not required at any time to give us any personal information requested by The BIZCLUB, but in not giving the information we may be hampered in providing the services or products you have requested.

The BIZCLUB Pty Ltd Services & Product

The Business Club continues to evolve its services and products as part of our commitment to you. We do this through customer contact. This helps us determine what you are happy with, what you're not happy with and the ability to provide you with new services or products to help you obtain your financial goals. Without our customer contact you would be unaware of any free offers, competitions, helpful hints, software developments and new products and services.

The BIZCLUB sees its customer contact as an essential service to our clients in providing ongoing service and support.

Should you wish to not receive information on Business Club products and services please tell us. You can phone, fax, e-mail or mail your request to The BIZCLUB using the contact details below. Please provide us with your full name, address and telephone number and mark attention to the Privacy officer.

Access to your information

You may request access to personal or and/or business information that we store about you. All requests will be processed within a reasonable time unless the Privacy Act 1988 (as amended) says otherwise.

There will be no charge to request information, but a fee may be charged for cost of processing the request.

Correction of information

The BIZCLUB endeavours to ensure that all information collected, used or disclosed is correct and up to date. Please notify us should changes need to be made to your personal and/or business information. All requests will be acted upon within a reasonable time.

Should there be a disagreement as to the accuracy of information you should request that notes be attached to that effect.
